Outcomes Manager Tab

The Outcomes Manager tab is where you tag test questions and rubric performance criteria with outcomes so that outcome scores report on the Learning Outcomes tab for that test or rubric.

The Outcomes Manager is divided into two sections.

1. Outcomes Sets.  A scrollable list of Outcome Sets which can be customized for each program and which come pre-populated with sets for Bloom's Taxonomy (BT), Client Needs (CN), Integrated Processes (IP), and Quality and Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN).

2. Outcomes Manager - Test Plan.  The Outcomes Manager - Test Plan is a table with all test questions or rubric performance criteria listed in the Question column and all associated outcomes listed in the Outcome column.  If you have not previously associated a question or criterion with an outcome, the outcome will be listed as Default, as you can see for Question 1 below.

To associate a question or criterion with one or more outcomes, simply select the outcome from the Outcomes Set, select the question in the Test Plan, and click "Go".  To remove an existing association, do the same thing.  In other words, select the outcome in the Outcomes Set you want to remove, select the question in the Test Plan from which you want the outcome removed, and click "Go".  As soon as you make a new association or remove an existing one, outcome scores will update on the Learning Outcomes tab for that test or rubric.
